Upcycle Wool Sweater Issue

I have been felting some wool sweaters and sewing them into soakers and longies. Some of them have turned out awesome but some of the softest wool seems to come off and stick to babe's legs and is tough to get off. I have not lanolized any of them since they seemed to be working fine without it but I'm wondering if not lanolizing them could be the reason the "fuzz" is coming off.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: Upcycle Wool Sweater Issue

I have the same issues, allays have. Lanoliing doesn't elp. having is the only thing that works. I have one soaker I adore that does this every time. I resently shaved it very close the other night and will be crossing my fingers today! Drives me up the wall. I have a cpl knit ones thta do it too. Just shave the best you can and repeat the process each time you do your wash/lanolize.
