Why Won't My Wool Dry

Yesterday right after I took a pic of Taci in her new soaker so pooped all over it. So I got my first wool washing and lanolizing experience. I used LAMB soap, squeezed all the water out with a towel and hung it up to dry in the bathroom. Here we are over 24hrs later and it's still not dry. We're in southern AZ so it's not like there's any humidity out here.
Did I do something wrong, how long does wool normally take to dry?

my wool normally takes 24 hours to dry outside in the heat, inside it takes a couple of days. also, the more lanolin you use the longer it takes to dry (from what i've heard).

Re: Why Won't My Wool Dry

Here's what I do... I put my wool in the washer on spin. Then I take it out and hang it in the laundry room - it is almost always dry within 24 hours - and we live in the muggy capital of the U.S.!

Re: Why Won't My Wool Dry

Yup - washer on spin, then onto the drying rack to dry. Most of my wool is dry in less than 24 hours that way, sometimes my crats take a bit longer.
