Loveybums vs Sugar Peas

These are both pricey... I need a fleece wrap for a chunky toddler and a skinny baby. Which one will fit my needs? And how are you happy with the quality of either one?
Thanks for sharing

My Mood:
I tried a sugar peas wool wrap and it left the worst red marks. :-( I would go with loveybums!!!

Re: Loveybums vs Sugar Peas

I have a large loveybums and a large sugar peas fleece cover. I much prefer the SP. I use SP at night for my 3 yo and it works well. I tried the LB cover on her during the day and she peed right through it! I think it is because the windpro layer of the LB is thinner and it has just a microfleece layer on the inside.

Also the LB cover is cut much narrower and won't fit over full cut fitteds. And they run very large. DDis 32 lbs and needs the crossover snaps on the large (18 - 30 lbs) cover! She's slim but by no means skinny. The LB is beautifully made though, and I like how it looks. And it's a better cover for trifolding.

The large SP also fits my 23 lb 11 month old well (over his night diaper--he'd probably fit better in a medium for day). I haven't had any issues with red marks, although the elastic is a bit tighter than some covers. Because SP is side snapping, you can adjust the legs and waist separately whereas LB you can't. I think you'd probably be happier with SP especially if you need something for a thinner baby. Just my

I've been using my SP covers as night covers for 8 or so months. They look brand new, so I think they are good quality I use Tide, hot water, and often the dryer on medium.

Re: Loveybums vs Sugar Peas

I love the sugar peas fleece covers.

My favorite fleece is Dancing Bears pull on soakers, but they don't have the convenience of snaps.

Re: Loveybums vs Sugar Peas

I'm using loveybums fleece covers right now. I have never used Sugar Peas though. I really like them. They're beautifully made and I really like that they have crossover snaps. I had to buy an XL because of the size of DD's thighs, but her waist isn't proportioned very well lol. So the crossover snaps make it fit both.
