Crockpot cooking question
I prepared our dinner in the crockpot yesterday and put it in the fridge. So can I just put the inside pot part that has the food in it straight from the fridge to the outer crockpot and start heating?
I think this is okay, but don't want to crack my inner crockpot thing. Thanks! Advertisement

It should be fine. I've never had any problems and have done it that way for years.

Yep, I've done that with every crockpot I've ever owned and never had a problem.

Re: Crockpot cooking question
Yep. Sometimes I use a crock pot liner and if it isn't all eaten I wrap it up put it in a freezer bag and freeze it. Then pull it out liner and all and reheat it.
