wth did I do wrong with my wipe solution?

I used warm water, a big glug of baby lavendar shampoo and some TT oil..

I think it smelt worse than the poo I was trying to clean off of DS butt!

I just got the oil today...should I use some essential oil for the smell? Or did I use too much TT?I couldnt have been more than a couple drops

Sounds like you used to much tto! All you need is like a drop of it per a cup!

Oh and when I made my own wipe solution I would use cheapo baby wash (from the $1 store), burts baby bee apricot oil, and the tto. IT smelled so good! Just wanted to give a suggestion!

ITA that you probably used too much TTO. You only need like 2-3 drops max!!

I also second the Burt's Bees Apricot Kernal Oil! That stuff is THE BOMB!!!! I used that instead of baby oil!!

Ditto everyone else. I made a big liter container of solution (wets 80ish wipes total) and use only 4-5 drops TTO. I, too use Apricot Oil--makes me happy I use a little bit more lavendar oil than TTO, just because I want that scent to overpower the TTO (it makes me gag )

TTO doesn't mix well with every scent, as I'm sure you're familiar with. LOL. Don't have any solutions, except maybe less TTO?

WHOA! a drop or so PER CUP Umm yeah.. I used too much, its only like a 8 oz bottle, I poured some of that was already mixed into a glass and added more water and more babyshampoo and baby oil...

IT SMELLS GOOOODDDD now
