steel cut oats or quinoa in the crock pot?
Anyone ever cooked steel cut oats or quinoa in the crock pot overnight or for several hours? I've attempted this once by following a recipe I found online but in the morning it was like an oat brick so I guess there wasn't enough water. If anyone has done this successfully I'd love to know your recipe and how long you cooked it.
I have not yet attempted quinoa in the crock pot but if anyone has a good method for that I'd also like to hear it.

I've done steel cut oats but they were chewy and hard and gross (but that was my first time eating them so maybe that is just the way they are - I won't try them again lol).
I toast my quinoa first and it only takes about 10 minutes to soak up the stock so I'm really not sure how it would do in the crockpot. Super helpful post, huh

I didn't realize I was asking such an obscure question! But I appreciate your replies and I will definitely try that porridge recipe from your blog! Thanks! I'm always up for recipes that use the crock pot- does the work for me
