I have always loved good fresh bread,but no matter what recipes I trid it always came out like a brick. Then I found this recipe and now our whole family has become bread snobs and won't eat grocery store bread anymore. I start ours just before I go to bed at night and its ready to be put in loaf pans when i wake up. By lunch we always have fresh hot bread. Two loaves last us about a day and a half.

I just blogged about two great bread books you have to get. Collisters the bread book and Peter Reinharts whole grain breads.

Thank you so much! I'm a homemade bread flunkie too. the only homemade bread product I can make is pizza dough. I'm using your method and starting this tonight.
