My son's fave from 9-18mths was any of the Duck and Goose books. His current (ie last 6 mths or so) has been Sheep in a Jeep.

my kids all loved pat the bunny & the rest of them (kunhardt) & the DK touch & feel books

also the usborne "that's not my........." series
