What costume will your child/ren being wearing for Halloween?

Found my 3yr old Daughter's costume at OUAC for $6.50. She going to be a lion! She's very specific and wants her face painted with a lion's nose and wiskers

My DS is going to be a dragon, I'm going as a princess (got a cool dress from goodwill), and DH will be a knight

ODS decided last night that he wants him and YDS to be Thing 1 and Thing 2. I'm thinking that's an easy costume to make myself.

For Ds 11mos I have his brother's old puppy costume but I did just buy the stuff to make a pumpkin.
For Ds almost 3 I just bought him a buddy the dinosaur costume that he loves and a Superman costume that I bought because he loves superman but he seems to hate the costume. and I also just bought the stuff to make him a super luke costume, cowboy, and sword guy(his current favorite.)

DD wants to wear the Angelina Ballerina costumes I made her last year but with a rose fairy princess costume over it instead of just a pick tutu. I made her a princess costume this year but she calls it a princess ghost dress because it has a flimy glittery white overlay. But I might make her wear one of the doz dressup outfits she has.

I'm not sure what to do for DS. The only word he can says is "fishy" so I was thinking maybe DS being a fish and DH and I being fishermen.

Anna wants to be a mean witch this year,she said she's tired of being the pretty princess,Dorothy,bride,goody goody type things already. LOL

DD will be Princess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty this year. I ordered her outfit, head to toe, from the Disney store online. Spendy, but well worth it, and it will fit for dress up after. I am so happy with the quality of this costume. No scratchy inside seams. Well made.

Her first year (10mo) she was a rocker baby, spiked colored hair and all, cut off sweatshirt. Cute!

Her second year she was Pebbles (Flintstones). I made her leopard print tunic (super easy sewing with fleece fabric ($10) and pipecleaner bone in her ponytail.

Last year she was Minny Mouse. Cheap Target costume that barely held together for three wearings (daycare, mall, and halloween night).

DS went as Bobba Fett last year and has been talking about wearing the same thing this year. I just have to get him to try on the costume and make sure it still fits.

We're doing Buzz (the baby) and Woody (the toddler). If DH & I dress up, it will be as Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head.



I've got the polyester cheap costume of Woody for DS--but I'm going to cut it up & embellish it. He'll wear regular jeans & brown shoes & I'm going to make fleece "boots" with hand sewn details.

I'm going to cut the outline of the belt & holster from the costume when I cut the pants off & have that hang outside of his pants. (I might add a onesie to the bottom inside though, so it doesn't ride up.)

We'll probably put a real handkerchief around his neck too!

The costume came with a foam hat, so that's covered!

The little one is getting this onesie.

I'm going to make him fleece Buzz pants and boots. I'll add the details on the pants with fleece! Depending on the weather I might make him an ear flap hat to go with it instead of the little beanie the shirt comes with.

For the Potato Heads, DH & I will wear oversized brown sweatshirts with poster board "parts" duct taped to us!
