I purchased something ffs from a mama on the 14th, recieved package on the 16th. Wrong item. Contacted mama who said she would send out the correct item that day. It has now been 10 days, and nothing. Contacted on Sat asking for DC number, got a response that she was checking. Nothing after that. PM'ed again for info, pm was received and now nothing.

My question, if I file with pp will I win because she had a dc number originally with the first package, but it was the wrong item?

I know everyone always says that paypal sides with the buyer but in my experience they don't really seem to even pay attention to the problem as long as the dc says delivered. I had one that was sent to some mystery address in a different city and the dc said it was delivered in that other city and they sided with the buyer. Their reason was that the dc said delivered. I argued that one for weeks and nothing helped. Apparently it doesn't matter where it was delivered as long as it was delivered somewhere! I guess it doesn't hurt to try but who knows what they will do.

I'd contact a mod I think. I believe you can actually get a PP refund if it's the wrong item but there are certain cases where they may not side with you - being as that you were essentially paying for shipping and not the item - this may be one of those cases.

Yeah there is a pp thing for "not as described" so you might be able to. I hate to cause a stink over FFS items though...but who knows, maybe it was $10shipping and that's a lot to spend for a wrong item!

Last I heard, 'Not As Described' was only for ebay transactions, unless they've changed it
