Shipping to Canada?

Are there those of you who won't do it? Why?
I've not done it, yet. But, I am getting lots of requests to do so.
I'm not sure the best way to ship either. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Angela

Re: Shipping to Canada?

I ship all over the world using endicia.com. Print FC International at home and can even add on their insurance very reasonably. I haven't stepped foot in a PO in ages.

eta: opps, I thought this was in the WAHM forum. Endicia probably isn't what you're looking for for FSOT casual selling since there's a monthly fee. However, I do think they have a free trial you could use.

I have shipped multiple times to Canada without any issues. You just can't do delivery confirmation. I ship from the PO and they gave me a bunch of custom forms to have on hand. That saves some time. I have found that it isn't any more expensive to ship to Canada.

I dont usually because i find it to be a pain, and i always underestimate shipping and end up paying more on my end. But that's my own stupidity. Lol.

If shipping first class there is no delivery confirmation. If the item is never received on their end they can file with pp and get their money back since you have no proof it was actually delivered. If shipping via a fre it's the same thing. If you ship regular priority or in a frb then you do can get a dc# showing proof of delivery. I rarely have problems shipping to Canada. I have had to resend a few packages here and there, but luckily nothing too big.
