Expirence with a sony babycall monitor?

I had one with DS and hated it for the exact same reason. This time around we bought a Graco monitor and it works great.

I like ours, the only annoying thing is the out of range beep -- if I sit too close, it beeps, if I take it into the kitchen which isn't THAT far from where DS sleeps upstairs, it beeps... but having tried a FP Sounds and Lights, this is miles better.
