no postmark?

i Just got a package from my mom and there is no post mark on it, the stamps are not canceled at all. She lives in Cali and I am in WA. How odd is that?

I got one like that recently so i cut the stamps off and glued them to my bills and mailed out again. All is good.. I thought I was weird too.

Usually that means it was stuck to another item during sorting (typically automated). Something was covering the postage area when it went through the canceling machine.
