I have the...

He is just awesome! I have hyperemesis, hospitalized at 6 weeks, rehydrated and put on zofran. While zofran is a great drug it doesn't make things all better. I still throw up, and I'm still nauseous. But on top of that the zofran kicks my butt! It gives me headaches, and makes me SO tired! I'm generally useless on a daily basis. I have better days where I can maybe vacuum a room or two, maybe hang some laundry, but that's about it! Today he asked me to help him with dinner because he didn't know how to use the crockpot, np, so I go to turn it on and set it, and the smell of the pork made me puke instantly... He felt bad. But this man for the past almost 5 weeks has done EVERYTHING for us!

In the morning, he gets up, gets the kids up, makes breakfast, packs lunch, takes to school, comes home, gets showered, get the little one breakfast, brings me breakfast in bed, and goes to work.

When he gets home from work he makes dinner, does dishes, helps with homework, helps me in any way he can, cleans up a little, puts the kids to bed.

On his days off he does laundry, and outside manly yard type stuff on top of making all the meals and cleaning!

I mean... this man is BEYOND awesome! And I cannot thank him enough! I am SO grateful for his love and support and help!

I just had to share since I see so many threads where DH is a jerk!

That is amazing! My DH has been picking up a lot of extra slack too, though not quite as much as yours...without complaining! It's wonderful to have such a supportive and loving hubby. I agree about hearing about the DH is a jerk threads...I enjoy hearing positive things. Hopefully you start feeling a little more human soon.

What a great DH! Glad he's there to help you, I know that if I didn't have help id be one hot mess. I'm dependant on mines to make and get all my meals for me when hungry. I wake up starving and if I don't eat right away I start gaging and throwing up! No fun.

It's great when they step up. I havn't had it as rough as you have, so mine hasn't had to take over as much, but between starting a new shift right at the same time I found out I was pregnant, and the utter prenatal exhaustion, DH has stepped up quite a bit, doing a lot more around here and letting me rest a lot more. He even suggested taking all the laundry to the landromat when all the laundry just got away from me (that's one chore I"m super anal about, so he won't just take that over) and most of the change we spent to do that came from his stash.
