Ugh...

I have MAJOR baby fever.
I've been so paranoid about getting pregnant. Like panic attacks. but now I find my self thinking "Yeah, okay...I think I'm ready"
Of course, worst. timing. ever.
DH is deploying next summer, and getting knocked up now means I'd be due right as he was leaving. I know plenty of people have babies with deployed husbands, but I can't do that. He'd miss so much, and my idea of "fun" for a year isn't a 3 year old and an infant....
But I can't get babies off my brain! I want to breastfeed again SO. BAD. (DS weaned at 22 months)

So yeah. It'll be hard to say "put the condom on hun..." when deep down I wanna say "IMPREGNATE ME!!!'

Re: Ugh...

Well, in my experience with 2 one year deployments...things can change. He might not go for 6 months, might get rear-d, you just never know. We decided not to let the military decide when we have kids and so far, he's been home for each birth. Dd he was on r&r and left for another 8m when she was 11days old, but he was home for the others. Just maybe worth talking to him an considering it

I don't even know how long he'll be gone, could be 9 months (then no R&R) could be 12 months (With R&R) in which case I wanna get knocked up in those few weeks he's home.
