My Bububibi Bamboo Diaper Review

So I ordered two bububibi bamboo os pockets with snaps. I ordered purple for my 10mo DD and ocean blue for my DS2 due in march.

I was a little dissapointed when they arrived and the ocean blue one had purple snaps!! The photo on the website shows white snaps. I've e-mailed them and haven't heard back yet but I went ahead with the diaper for dd to try.

For comparison, most of our collection is sunbaby, DD at 10mo/18lbs, is on the medium rise setting & medium waist setting.

On the bububibi DD wears the smallest rise setting and the waist snaps I originally had set on smallest but not overlapping and later changed them to overlap. So this diaper is what I think I'd call a TRUE One-Sized diaper. This one will definitely fit her for a long time to come. This diaper does not have hip snaps but even with DD's skinny thigh they still fit good.

I have two pictures, it was hard to keep her from moving lol. The pics were taken before I changed the waist setting to overlap.

The insert that comes is topped with bamboo. Now, the way it snaps in, the bamboo touches the skin and I could of sworn MF needed to be on top and then hemp/bamboo on bottom because of the slowness of the way they soak up liquid. But I could be wrong. I forgot to double stuff for night though and we did leak but that was I believe a fault on my part. I normally do a hemp insert & an MF insert at night and spaced it last night.

Other than that I love the fit! Really like the diaper and will order more!

My conclusion: worth the $8 for this diaper.

Awesome review! It looks ALOT bulkier than our Sunbaby diapers though. One of the major complaints about these diapers is the delamination. You will have to update if yours delaminates! It really stinks that you got a blue diaper w/purple snaps too. Hopefully they will fix it for you.

Yeah They do seem bulkier, I'm going to try my regular inserts in it and see if that helps instead of their MF/Bamboo insert.
I'll update again after a few weeks of use. I hope they don't delaminate... I just had a few diapers from nubunz do that.
