My SIL has been a SAHM (AF) for 10 years and may need to WOH unexpectedly. What resources are out there to help her transition, rebuild a resume, find jobs, etc?

If you have a local workforce development office, that might be a great place to start. They typically have a listing of jobs that aren't otherwise advertised, and frequently offer resume-writing consultations for free.

She's in Belgium right now, most likely moving to Colorado in March, so our local office is out

Online, military, or CO-based stuff would be the easiest for her.

I am in Port Washington - about 4 miles from Belgium! - and am not sure of any resources in this area. I am sure there are things down in Milwaukee though. As far as online resources, what exactly do you think she is looking for? Does she have any skills? If she is military, I would think they have resources for her or spouses of military. My husband was Navy and found his job through a military head hunter type service.

If she's a military spouse, they should have some kind of family unit on base and they'll have a lot of information and be able to help her get contact information for the Colorado office on the bases there. They'll help her with her resume and interview questions and everything. If he's Air Force, let me know and I'll get the contact info for her.
