With your seat though, as PP stated above, your seat base has a built in lock off. Just use that.

How is the frontier installed? Are you using a locking clip on it or are you using the LBP with no belt left. Just curious.
I use the frontier with a clip.

As long as both seats are independently installed you can use it with the base. Install with the base and then uninstall the frontier. If the ss is still tight then your fine to have them side by side. Little tilting is fine.
