Re: Just Ducky

i ordered one for a swap partner, paid instantly, then was billed 3 days later for 5.95 shipping!!! (as if it costs that much to ship on small size diaper to another state) then just last night i opened my mail to get a shipping notice 2 WEEKS!!! after i paid the 5.95 shipping. now i don't know if that menas they just shipped it or if it was shipped earlier and i just got the notice but personlly i feel that is unaccepable! if you are going to say you have something instock it better be instock and shipped promptly. if you need to make then specify that it is custom made to order and will ship within x to x days. i will not be ordering from them again.

Re: Just Ducky

I ordered from JD will be 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I didn't get any notice what-so-ever once I placed the order. So yesterday I checked my email yet again to see if I missed it and no, no notice. I looked up and down Diaperswappers to find others that got diapers too. I even checked the JD website to see if I missed something stating how long the shipping takes. Then saw the owner of JD email someone and she seemed pretty nice so I decided to email her. I was very nice in my email. Did I get a response from her?? No, I got a shipping notification with a tracking number. The tracking number, all it says is shipped, but no information. I don't understand A, why she couldn't respond to my email personally stating why this is happening, B, why the website doesn't say it takes more then 2 weeks to get it, and C, why I paid over $25 for a diaper and have to wait more then a half month to get it.

Re: Just Ducky

Well, with this week being a holiday, I would give her some time to respond. She is a mama just like the rest of us and I think that she is preggo about to pop. I do also remember her saying that she was swamped with orders. Also it isn't unusual for you to have to wait 2 weeks to receive something. USPS stinks and sometimes it just takes that long.

I am more then satisfied with that. I have a 4 month old, I know we get busy. I just would have loved to see an email stating what is going on....I am very understanding.

Re: Just Ducky

yeah she is pg and has a 14 or so mth old. I know her business grew really big really fast...but still i don't think that would be an excuse for taking this long. Also she has them made, she doesn't actually sit and make them. She actually lives in my town and my friend also lives near her and has talked to her, they are a military family. Our postal service around here is very fast, so that shouldn't be an issue....it does sound very strange, I think she is possibly overloaded. not trying to make excuses just maybe trying to give some insight....I would try to email her one more time and explain to her how you feel about the service you have received thus far, and see how she responds, just let her know you aren't satisfied at the moment.

That is what I would want if I were her...but that's just me.

I hope you get your stuff soon.
