Re: Can you stop Vaxxing once you've started?
My boys are 9,7 and 6 and I stopped all vax on them when I decided that vaxing wasn't for us. DD has never had any vax and won't. I have signed waivers for the school and I have the waivers printed out in the even that anyone tries to push me, I just have to hand it to them.

Re: Can you stop Vaxxing once you've started?
Even if you put you child into public school you dont need to vax them. You can get an exemption. If you dont think you should vax your dc your probably right. We have never vaxed, and my oldest is going into grade 1. I even went through a custody fight with me on the no vax end and him on the vax end I thought for sure I was scr*wed but I won. People are starting to get better about understanding the no vax standpoint. Good luck in your choice.

Re: Can you stop Vaxxing once you've started?
My first is mostly vaxxed (esp for Hep B and CP). My second we some shots, but he was sick a lot his first year (surprise, surprise, his first major illness was at two months right after he got his first round of vaxes
) He battled croup, pneumonia and ear infections for months so whenever we would go in, he would be too sick for his vaxes. Thank goodness. Finally, i woke up and stopped having him vaxxed at a year. I know that the findings on the the MMR causing Autism aren't conclusive, but i felt it was compelling enough of a reason to not even chance it. The littlest one isn't vaxxed at all.

Re: Can you stop Vaxxing once you've started?
I went to 9 months but stopped after that...he's not had any since!
but think about it, what would it hurt? The vaccine is there, and even if you had say shot 1 of a series of shots that's ok, all it means is that he got part of it but not all of it, it's not going to make him any more or less sick or make his risks change anymore than if he hadn't gotten it at all. It will just fade away shortly. Just like if you gave your child a drop of tylenol then realized he didn't need it so you didn't give him the rest...is he in danger because he only had a drop and not ALL of it? does that make sense. (eta...meaning of a dose not the bottle LOL) oh and you child CAN go to public school without vaccines http://www.vaccinesafety.edu/cc-exem.htm
