Infant Car seats?
I need some recommendations for infant seat. I have always just put my babies in the convertibles from the start but this little on is my first winter baby and I have decided to do an infant seat so baby can be all snuggly and warm between the house and garage and doesn't have to be put into a cold car seat. I need a seat that isn't to narrow since we are expecting a bigger baby (10+lbs) and I would like for it to be on the lower cost side ($80 or less). We will go into a convertible once the weather gets better (around April) so higher weight isn't a necessity. The only stores I have around here are Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory and Walmart. I could potentially order online but my shower isn't until October 29th and the way my friends are talking I will be getting a large gift card to purchase a few larger items, but that only gives me about 3 weeks before baby will arrive and I don't want to push my luck with shipping. SO what do you recommend? I figured it would be an easy decision but my gosh there are soooooooo many infant seats out there!

Re: Infant Car seats?
I would suggest the graco snugride in your price range. I would avoid evenflo discovery and the baby trends seem to be very narrow seats.

I'd say in the price range the lower weight Snugrides as well, with front adjust.
The Safety First Onboard 35 would be way more weight than you're wanting, but it can be found close to the same price. Because of the higher weight you might get more for it if you plan to sell though.

Re: Infant Car seats?
I would avoid the evenflo or baby trend seats, if you do a snugride make sure it's front adjust, I also like the Onboard 35s that are about $90 at target.

Re: Infant Car seats?
Ok so I have been looking on amazon and it seems that most of the snugrides under $135 do NOT have front adjust and that is pretty important, so I was looking at the safet first seats and would like to know what the diffrence between this one http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20
and this one http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 is? Is on better than the other?

I have the second one the designer 22 and I like it I haven't tried the first one the comfort carry but I know it has a lower weight limit 4 pounds opposed to the 5 pounds on the designer 22
