My Mood:
Expect to have both good and bad nursing days in the beginning. I got frustrated at times, but a wise friend reminded me that my baby hadn't been around that long and was still learning.

Also, if you find yourself getting frustrated, hand the baby off to someone else for a few minutes. It's harder to be successful at it that way.

Oh, and LOTS of skin to skin time, especially early on. It makes a world of difference!

Just push through the first few weeks! Expect your nips to hurt like crazy for a bit, but know it will go away. Get help if you think you need it, and if the baby takes a break from nursing don't be afraid to go take a shower or have a minute alone. Good luck!
