) that you would take more adds- I know this isn't easy to coordinate, and you do a FANTASTIC job!! THANKS from the bottom of my heart (and the bottom of my son's bum) !! ![]() I see how mommy2daniel's post could have come off that way- but I really don't think she meant it like it sounds0- I was trying to clear up the confusion. She just had no idea that there was a wait on spiderman- so she was confused at why there were still being adds and the last box hadn't shipped. From the sounds of it she must have ordered directly from you and hasn't been part of the updates? I know from past posts she has had a really hard time finding a diaper that works for her son, and these work, so she just is really eager to get them. I imagine she might pay more for separate shipping of the N06- but that is just my guess. Thanks again for all you do!

Thanks. No, I didn't mean to offend anyone - least of all the lady nice enough to run the co-op where the price of diapers that actually FIT my son well AND cause no allergic reactions has been made available to me so cheap. I was honestly confused at seeing posts that stating shipment was already in transit (which REALLY got me excited bc I wasn't expecting things to move so quickly) and then seeing other posts stating add-ons and more orders were still being accepted. Totally confusing to me bc I didn't know how these things work.... this is the first co-op I've ever joined. I didn't even know what a co-op was til about a week before I placed my order. Please forgive me. Total misunderstanding on my part. My brain is on overload. My son's having surgery tomorrow.

Re: TRIM! :Alva POST YOUR ACTION SHOTS! "S" Series Picture #331!
I just got my alvas yesterday and have been using them today. Found that I needed them on the smallest possible setting on the rise and the waist (without overlapping) to fit my 6 months old 16 lbs DD. I can't imagine how these would fit a 5kg baby as they claim. However, I suggested to them that they could add another set of riser snaps like they have on the S series diapers which should make them fit smaller babies as well. They emailed me back and said they would add these improvements for the future. So I hope to see it at some point. For anybody who is still thinking about ordering and needs them for smaller babies, you could always request it. I had requested the hip snaps on all of them bamboo inserts instead of mf and they did that with no problem. So they may be able to custom add more snaps. Just a thought. If nothing else, if more people request it, they may change them sooner.

Re: TRIM! :Alva POST YOUR ACTION SHOTS! "S" Series Picture #331!
I should add one of mine delaminated today =(. But im okay with it. We only have 9 of them and I use them all.the.time. Sometimes they are washed once a day if I don't feel like using my other diapers. Im going to contact alva after I take photos and see what they can do.

As I stated in my apology to Sarah in an earlier post, I meant no offense whatsoever and Sarah and I have communicated and clarified this, since. I was only confused by conflicting posts I had read and have been a bit overwhelmed lately with my son's surgery approaching. Surgery was today and was succesful but ds is very sore and cranky so we'll see if mommy and daddy get any sleep tonight..... my poor baby. ![]() Sarah: You ABSOLUTELY rock! That's a serious TON of diapers and time you're investing to get us all a great deal. Thanks for being so willing to split my shipment for me.

I did actually add snaps to my bamboo inserts so I can snap two together so they wouldn't move around as much. Posed that in the alva insert thread. I also just realized that the fleece inner diapers are a very different cut from the ms. I accidentally ordered 6 of the fleece ones as I really like the print and didn't pay attention to the fact that they were fleece. the cut doesn't work for my little one's skinny legs as they leg opening seems to be larger. I can see them working well for chuncky thigh babies. I also had to snap the rise to the medium setting rather than the smallest setting on the ms so they are definitely cut smaller in the rise as well. Since I bought way too many diapers, I will be getting ride of the fleece ones and keeping more of the ms ones. I do like that the fleece ones have the double layer of PUL under the rise snaps as well as the hip and waist snaps whereas the ms ones only have double layering under the waist and hip snaps and jsut the single layer of PUL under the rise snaps. Since the rise snaps are usually just left in place, I guess it's not really an issue though I guess only time will tell how they hold up. |
