Re: July Babies: Overnight Diaper Solution?

My LO nurses a few times a night and we cosleep. I put him in either sbish hemp fitted, which I don't think are made anymore, or a BSRB. We use bummis covers. He pees all night and I usually change him around 5 or 6, but we have went longer with no issues. He sleeps on his side and we have had a bg 4.0 leak once overnight but I have used 4.0s and 3.0 AIO before with no issues.

Re: July Babies: Overnight Diaper Solution?

We just started having this problem in the last week or so. It's so not fun! Trying not to use sposies, but I'm thisclose, since I can't seem to get anything to work that I already have.

The ONLY diaper that has ever worked for us as a nighttime solution is a goodmama with a doubler. I bought a ton of them on sale a long while back and used them on the boys.

Re: July Babies: Overnight Diaper Solution?

I've had good luck with my Bumgenius 4.0's. They are definitely heavy and wet by morning if she sleeps through the nights, but she doesn't leak through and because of the stay-dry liner, we haven't had diaper rash issues.

Its not an absorbancy issue per se.... he is just ridiculously sensitive and intolerant to any wetness in the diaper. Im talking he screams like a psycho! We had fleece liner, suedecloth diaper inner, another fleece liner, 2 bamboo inserts and he still just woke up. One day i will give in and put like underarmor or a nike sports bra on him in place of a diaper.
maybe you could do a hybrid cloth at night system like, a flip insert with a prefold and some hemp inserts in a pul cover with wool over that!

But we dont have an absorbancy / leaking problem. He wakes up the second theres the littlest bit of moisture on him.
