I'm in the same situation! Except I work 35 hours/week. I applied for a job within te same company that is full time just for the benefits (really awesome insurance and paid holidays, etc) but I would LOVE to be able to have more than just weekends off to hang with the kids and do more around the house.

Maybe you could budget for a cleaning person 1-2 times a month and feel less stressed about it?

Quite honestly...I would rather have insurance, paid vacation, sick days and just hire a regular house cleaner once every week or two to keep up the house.

My cousin comes over every once in awhile and helps me clean. We really haven't made much of a dent yet, but at least it gets us all moving.

I'm excited that we're closing the office this Friday. We're getting a comp day because the crew in the office upstairs got a day off that we worked I guess. To be honest I didn't even notice. lol But it will be my first paid day off. And the kids will be at school so I should be able to have some me time and get something done around the house.
