Re: wool over PUL at night?

No, it's no hotter than the pocket/AIO would be on it's own. Wool breathes really well.

ok, so I found some cute & not too expensive longies- Babyology. Anyone have opinions/comments? (Maybe I should post a separate thread...??) The pink/natural stripe is sooo cute! But I'm a little nervous about caring for it- is it a PITA?

I was nervous of wool at first too but care isnt bad at all! Just wash it every 2-3 weeks or when it gets dirty and lanolize when you start feeling wet on the outside (Ive heard anywhere from once a month to once every 3 months). Personally it sounds easier to me than my reg diapers!

Re: wool over PUL at night?

We wear an interlock soaker over a stuffed FB at night. No, it's not silly. Everytime I say, not tonight, he'll be fine, he leaks. Usually it's his undershirt that somehow gets tucked inside the FB and wicks, or since he nurses all night long (we cosleep), he'll pee out the leg when he's on his side. He pees ALOT a night and this has saved us from a lot of wet sheets...

Re: wool over PUL at night?

with dd2 my favorite out and about combo was a pul aio under wool longies! i say go for it. wool is really easy to care for once you try it. it's just intimidating beforehand.
