anyone sew clothes for their kids?
I do - I've been sewing pretty much all of her clothes now - Nothing RTW fits her - she's small for her age, but a tall/thin build - so pants either fit in the waist or the leg - not both and shirts are always way too wide. She also potty trained earlyish - when she was in cloth the diapers at least kept her pants up LOL.

I've been working on fall/winter stuff. This week I made 4 plain long sleeve fitted T-shirts for under dresses and sweaters, a jersey blouse and a pair of jeggings. Here's the blouse and jeggings (finished yesterday):

I work mostly from Ottobre mags - I have quite a few now after scoring a pile of old issues on kijiji. The sizing fits her pretty well as is, but it's pretty easy to alter to fit as you need to trace the patterns anyway, and there is a great online yahoo group and flickr to see stuff made and find out how different patterns fit.

I'd love to see the nightgown.
