My Mood:
Clothes
Crib/mattress
Swing

Everything else will be a 'get it if/when we need it'.

Now my 'to do' list is MUCH longer but we are slowly getting through it. The two major things I want done are time restrictive but hopefully we can make it happen:

Call in professional house cleaners while I'm in the hospital
Have meals prepared/food stocked

My Mood:
My house cleaned and organized so there is room for this little one. Or a larger house in trade for this one.

Re: What do you still need/want/dream of...

We need:

a new crib (current one is drop side, has teeth marks all over, and DS is still in it!)
a car seat

I WANT:
a new bouncy seat - ours no longer vibrates

and I REALLY NEED to make a stinking decision already on the carseat! I keep flipping back and forth between the MyRide and the True Fit. *sigh* I've read thread after thread on car-seat.org and basically it comes down to a personal preference, which makes it harder! We can't try them out because we can only find the My Ride in stores around here, I'd have to order the True Fit (which I don't mind cause online prices are often better deals, but it means I can't check it out in person).

And I'm having a hard time not going over to my friends due date club (here on DS) and squealing her news, because she just had her baby a couple hours ago on the side of the highway because they couldn't make it to the hospital in time!!! So I'll squeal here instead and let her break the news in her club.

LOL really!!!!!!!!!!! I just got back from bringing her some breakfast and got to hear the whole story. Everything went fine and mama and baby are doing great - he nursed this morning and has been snoozing ever since (like, gulping, so GOOD nursing). She was 2 days "overdue" and had been contracting off and on mildly for the last couple of weeks, so her body had done lots of prep work and when baby decided he was ready, it was ON. Apparently her DH called 911 when they stopped (because she realized she wouldn't make it) and 911 had the deputy call him back and when her DH realized the baby was crowning the deputy told him "sir, you're going to have to catch your baby." Her DH is a very smart guy, he's totally supportive so it's not like this was news. He told the guy, "if that's all the help you have for me, I'm hanging up cause we're busy!"

Nursery stuff-

We plan on getting the same furniture DD has but just the convertible crib and nightstand for the new baby and give her one of DD's 2 huge dressers. We are converting DD's crib into a toddler bed and transistioning her from our bed soon.

Bedding set and accessories (for some reason I love a cute well put together nursery even though DD never used hers, she co slept and we spend most time in the living room playing)

I think we are good on gear and car seats but we will need some clothes as the two will be born in different seasons so some stuff won't work.

Re: What do you still need/want/dream of...

I still have so much stuff to get!

Cosleeper and bedding
Nursing pillows
Nursing bras
Nursing pads
Carseat (I REALLY want to get a convertible, I hate infant seats.)
Baby potties (for EC)

And diaper wise I still need to get:
Covers (flips and wool)
Wipes
Changing pads
wet bags
diaper pail
snappis
prefold belts

I have a half dozen tshirts in 0-3 mo, and am getting ready to cast on for my first wool sleep sack (I plan on making three), which is really all the clothes I think he'll need.
