Wanna see something funny?

Take your baby from a well lit room into a darkened room or turn out the lights and watch their eyes go all huge like a crazy person. I'm not sure if this happens with all babies, but all three of my lo's have done this. I think it's cute every time. Have fun!

Your eyes do that, too mama. All people's eyes do it. It's just the way your eyes adjust to varying light. Letting more light in when you're in a dark room so you can see more VS letting less light in when you're in a bright room so you aren't getting too much light in your eyes. (obviously that's not the scientific explanation, but you get it!)

I used to do this to myself in the bathroom mirror for fun. It is neat.

ETA I just re-read my post and it sounds snarky - I DID NOT mean it that way!!!

My kids did this all the time too. Even when taking pictures at first. LOL I know the pupil dilates to let in more light, but the opening of the whole eye thing is funny.

Sent from my overpriced SGH-T959V using DS Forum

Spin them in an office chair, the stop. Their eyes will dart side to side a few times, expecting to keep going.

*don't do this if your kid gets queazy easily. My daughter LOVED it!

Hmm, I've never looked in the mirror. I know my pupils dilate but I didn't realize my whole eye got huge, lol.
