TMI but someone please help
This is my second child but I don't remember having it with my first... maybe I did though?
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and feel like my vaginal area is bulging! Its most noticeable when I sit on the toilet but I can feel it sitting down on a chair or even standing a little bit... not as much though. Is this normal or should I worry about prolapse of some sort?

Oy, it is likely normal. I had it with my last pregnancy (my 3rd) but NOT with my first 2. It was SO annoying and uncomfortable.

Re: TMI but someone please help
There is a name for it. . . I can't remember . . .basically your ligaments are too loose and can't hold your pubic bone in, or something like that. I had it only a few weeks ago, too. I'm 37 weeks now and it went away.

Re: TMI but someone please help
I am just starting to feel that way too. I sit on the toilet to go to the bathroom and am scared to push in fear of having a baby or something
I am 29 weeks with my second. I did get it with my first, but not until later.

I've also heard about people having varicose veins there causing a lot of swelling and feeling of pressure.

Bulging as in swelling? My girly bits are super swollen right now (35w) and its apparently normal.

Very normal! I've had that for every pregnancy. I'm 22 weeks with #7 and I've been swelling for about 3 weeks now. I have very big babies, so I blame mine on that. TMI- I don't like to "spend time" with the hubs in the AM because I will be swollen until lunch, throbbing somethings. I can't get anything done around the house like that!

![]() I found it helped to wear pantyhose on the days when it was worst. Kind of kept everything snug and supported.
