Re: GD: lowering fasting blood sugar levels?
I got mine to be lower by having a glass of 1% milk and a handful of almonds. I got an 81 this morning. This snack was at 10pm, and was preceded by a snack at 8pm. It is so hard to make myself eat so much though. I really don't like shoving food in when I'm not hungry!
Previously I had been drinking whole milk and my numbers were higher. I will try the same low fat milk thing tonight and see if the numbers stay low or if it was a fluke! LOL! Advertisement

Re: GD: lowering fasting blood sugar levels?
It is weird, but I was told that fat can cause blood sugar to rise over time (take longer to be digested), so I though I would give it a try LOL! We'll see if it works again tonight!
