Have to share...

with fellow CD mamas - because no one around here seems to care! LOL!

I have been selling and buying like CRAZY to get baby #2's stash together - I've never CD'd a newborn before so I am super duper excited about this.

Here's what I have so far:

12 Imagine (Nicki's Brand) Indian Prefolds - Infant Size (7-15lbs)
1 snappi
1 Thirsties Duo Size One cover - Hoot print
1 Bummis Super Lite Cover - size Small - in brown
1 Bummis Super Brite Cover - size Small - in green dots
8 OS Nicki's Pocket Diaper - 4.0s
*Zinnia
*Bubble
*Ribbit
*Moonbeam
*Clementine
*Sweet
*Dazzle
*Sassy

4 Lil' Joeys
Orange - Yellow - Brown - Teal

On the way;
12 more Infant Size Imagine Prefolds
2 more snappis
1 Thirsties Duo Cover - Size One - Stripes

Once I sell a few more diapers - B4's incase anyone's looking - I'll be buying a bit more... but what do you think so far?

PS - I've NEVER used prefolds before!!

Re: Have to share...

Well - gotta say they are cheaper by a LONG shot... now I need to learn how to fold them other than fan the back and trifold the front LOL!

Seems that Nickis prefolds are pretty awesome IMO - of course I've never used them so who knows - but they are all quilty and soft!

Honestly, I think you need a few NB PF's and XS. OS diapers rarely fit on babies until their thighs chunk up.

yes, I am trying for about 30-35 newborn diapers because even though they don't wear them long I was part time in sposies with DD because we didn't have nearly enough. Some times she went through 20 diapers a day!! I remember changing her and having her pooping on the table and going through 3 diapers in one change!

Re: Have to share...

Well I have a whole case of newborn sposies that I can use... I don't want to but I really don't have the cash to buy a whole stock of newborn diapers ... That's kind of why I bought the prefolds as well because I had an 8 pound newborn so I figure the prefolds might fit sooner

I love prefolds too, and when your baby is brand new (not yet rolling over) you have the option of just laying their naked butt on an open prefold. It gives baby a chance to air out, and will save your covers for outings, and baby's active time of the day.
