Training pants for almost 2 year old?

Hello ladies!

I think my youngest is starting to PL - she has been asking to go in the potty and is showing a lot of interest (and skill - will tell me she needs to go and by golly she goes!)

So, now I'm starting to look at training pants. For CD's we're currently using HH and Drybees. But they don't work so well for PLing. I purchased one small HH trainer and an Imsie Vimsie trainer. The HH one seems huge (I stuffed it with one of our MF inserts) but it's ok for now. The IV isn't bad, but I was wondering what I was missing out there. For DD#1 I used Gerber training pants, and they were ok. I purchased the HH thinking I could use our current inserts and especially at night just double up on them.

So, please spam me some reviews/suggestions! Oh, I haven't weighed her in awhile, but I'd guess she's right around 25 pounds and has fairly chunky thighs. Her belly is starting to thin out a bit. She will be 2 the end of the month.

I just saw some at www.blueberrydiapers.com when I was buying dipes. Dd is 18 months and kinda interested in the potty, but I need to be on the wagon so I didn't buy any yet. They are super super cute though!

Well. We've been at this for a few months. Our son is trying to.

Our favorties so far are Cloth Thoughts and SNAP-EZ. Someone just posted some girly Cloth Thoughts ones that are new! I like the cotton trainers the best from both of them. We do best when he knows he's wet and for some reason they feel less like diapers. I do have 5 PUL ones so when we're out he can still be in trainers and try if he needs to. I haven't used trainers at night yet. They are just too trim to stuff enough for our guy. I'm guessing once he's day trained we'll worry about that.

I like Snap-ez or Nap-ez with a light insert. Water-resistant for outings and still lets them "feel" wet.

You might check the EC store (www.theecstore.com). They carry smaller sizes of things like trainers.

Good luck!

ZBG ( www.zoombabygear.com ) sells the trainers. And she has all kinds of funky and not so funky prints. She is great to work with.

Re: Training pants for almost 2 year old?

my son is 22 months but on the small side and starting to use the potty
I have some EC Store ones that are small - REALLY small
my favorites that I got off of FSOT are Poquito Pants. I'd LOVE for her to start sewing again b/c these are the BEST training pants ever!!!

but we've found that going without bottomsis the best for PT
