Anyone have the HABA indoor swing? Or can you recommend any others?
I am getting DFS an indoor swing for Christmas. Can anyone recommend one? I was looking at the HABA one...

They have two of these things at one of the pediatric cancer foundations where we live and my daughter LOVES to sit in it and relax. They have them outdoors under the deck though and not in the house.
There was a lady here on DS that built a sensory room for her kids and had a picture of this Ikea swing and we are thinking about ordering it for our home.

we have had the ikea swing in our old house. Since moving I haven't put it up yet because it got sent to storage at my dads. But it is so awesome! cheap and works well. My kids love it.

What is the purpose of the swing? We have a swing for DS so he can get some sensory input on rainy days. We have this swing and the various attachments and it is perfect for DS. On days he just needs to feel curled up and held close, he uses the net swing. On days he needs to turn in circles, he uses the trapeze bar, and on days he just needs motion he uses the regular swing.

It is for sensory input when he is crazed. That looks really cool!

I have the HABA swing as well as the standing indoor hammock chair stand (white, metal, easy to move & set up) and it's one of the best things we have gotten for my son!! I even figured out how to take it off the wood rod for washing. I liked this particular swing because of the weight range and size - I can actually sit in it while holding my 45 lbs son on my lap and not even come close to the limit. I also read really great reviews about the HABA customer service should anything need to be addressed with the swing later on. It also came recommended by his therapists as the best type of therapy swing because it has a perfect balance of open mesh with confinement, softness from the pillow but firmness from the support straps. I have been nothing but ecstatic with the purchase! I know it costs a bit more, but if you can swing it, (no pun intended! Lol) it's worth the purchase in the long run for it's longevity.
