My niece calls her Dad by his first name. They have never really tried to correct her. She is spoiled freakin rotten and is a gigantic brat so I'm guessing it's not a priority. I feel bad even typing it, but it's the truth.

Haha, Micah does this with Chris too. When I call for Chris, he then yells "CWWWIIIISSSS" too. I do try to correct him, but it's kinda funny too.

AFM, nothing much going on. Just recovering from a somewhat stressful Thanksgiving with the IL's. They were pretty accommodating food wise (since I am dairy free) but other stuff was kind of stressful. Especially when DH's grandma came up to my SIL who was standing right next to me and said "You are such a good mommy" and then said NOTHING to me. HELLLLLOOOOO!!!! It's not like I have given up dairy which used to account for about 40% of my diet just for fun and to be a major pain in the a star star to everyone else. It's for MY DAUGHTER!!! I mean, throw me a freakin' bone or something...not that it would have mattered but some sort of acknowledgement would have been nice. But I am fairly certain they think I am koo koo kachoo crazy with my cloth diapers, baltic amber teething necklaces, babywearing and natural parenting choices among other things. Oh well, just looking forward to spending Christmas with my family.

The only black friday shopping I did was order a car DVD player from Walmart.com for our trip. Two 7.5" screens that attach to the headrests for $60. Not too bad, and it will definitely be worth it for our trip down to So Cal alone and get plenty of use there after. Cyber Monday I just ordered a couple more flip seconds covers for $6.

Anyways, Chris is at basketball practice late tonight, so it's going to be a long day. Working on convincing Ellie she likes the Ergo. She's warming up to it and fell asleep in it earlier today. Micah on the other hand LOVES it, and asks to "get in the carrier" anytime he sees me put it on. At least he'll get some use out of it at Disneyland.

@Rachell, good deal on the dvd players...they are a life saver on long trips.

had a nice evening out with the family. went to Lowe's to putz and look at inflatable christmas decorations ( the kids love the "big balloons") and dream about house projects. went to the library earlier...the kids were not so good then. i swear, they were going to get us kicked out. thankfully, the library has a very large children's library on the second floor, so we retreated there and spent over an hour and a half there playing with toys and some neat touch-screen computers with learning games that sydney loves.

ok, I'm going to be sooooo freaking annoying about that wrap colorway contest thing, but I am soooooo freaking excited about it! It would be a.maz.ing to win. trying not to get too excited as the votes just opened up today and I probably blew my voting population already. posted on here, facebook and thebabywearer to get votes. oh well. it would be pretty neat!

Last day today ladies. sigh. I'm up and moving today. getting ready to do some pilates. I really need to lose some major weight before summer- 20yr reunion time!
Today we are going to go look at some puppies!!! The girls have been begging for one, and these little guys will be 3months around xmas. perfect age! They are lab mix, hoping for a golden one. They are free off CL.

I really need to take some pics of the upstairs, the guys installed the carpet last night!! all that's left is the baseboards and door trim and we can start moving stuff into the rooms. Lots to do downstairs but it's progress!!! whoot!

Yep, last day... crazy! It was a year ago today that (at 3w5d) I took a pregnancy test that came out negative so I was like "yay, I can drink at the Christmas party!" lol...

Not doing much today but Lana's first girl scout meeting for the year is tonight so I have to go to that.

Bummed that it's the last day. Izzy had a great week last week and this one has been horrible. Blah. I dropped off Izzy at prek and took the littles on a few errands. I finally mailed off some coupons to Sarah. We went to the breadstore and June was excited to get her own "cookie card". The lady made me feel fabulous! Sshe said she loves when I come in because it's such a joy to see my kids. And that I'm a really great mom. It was such a hectic morning I almost hugged her. Oh. Then she handed me 3 packs of cookies. She looked at Caspian and said he can eat cookies now, right? He's got to be close to a year. Poor gigantic guy.

Naomi you got me all crazy looking at fabric cutters. Now I really really want a Silhouette Cameo. I'm just going to keep dreaming.

lol...ya'll tested a lot earlier than me, and I thought I was testing early. I don't think I got my positive until Dec. 10 or so.

aww, it is so nice to hear "good mommy" comments from others. it really makes the day.
and, so sorry about the fabric cutter addiction. mine is a paper cutter, but i've seen some pretty neat fabric cutters online too. maybe you'll find a great deal too!
