I can't believe that no one has shard their baby food recipes! Come on girls!!!

So I full on jumped into making my DD food a few months ago and I am so proud! But of course she has now decided to feed herself and I must have something to give her to have in her hand while I feed her the pureed dinners I made, but it is still ok!

I have found some great recipes and thought that maybe we could share our favorites with each other! Here are my 2 favorites right now, I got them from this website:
http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/index.html

I made a great fish chowder, fish is so healthy and I wanter her to try it and this turned out really good. I actually combined the two recipes and made it with with less milk (the first one had too much IMO) and all the veggies!

Hearty Fish Chowder

8oz any white fish fillet, cut into 1 in pieces
2tbsp carrot, peeled and grated
1tbsp celery, diced
1tbsp onion, chopped finely
1tbsp flour
1tbsp butter
16fl oz milk
8oz baking potato, peeled and diced

Melt the butter in a saucepan, over a medium heat.
Add the carrot, celery and onion and saute for 3 mins.
Stir in the flour, then slowly blend in half the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Add the potato, then bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat then simmer, uncovered, for about 30 mins, stirring occasionally.
Add the fish and the remaining milk, then cook until the fish is done (about 10 mins).
Mash any lumps with a fork.

Fish Chowder

8oz cod or haddock fillet, cut into 1" pieces
8oz small red potatoes
1tsp olive oil
1/2 red pepper, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 clove garlic
1tbsp flour
6 fl oz milk
pinch paprika

Boil the potatoes until just tender.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
Add the peppers and garlic and saute until the peppers are fairly soft.
Add flour and stir into the peppers and garlic.
Then stir in the milk and paprika.
Add the potatoes and bring to the boil.
Place the fish on top and reduce the heat.
Cover and simmer until the fish is done (10-15 mins).

The next one was so good that my DH and I ate it all and I never froze it for DD!

Tasty Pork Stew

8oz lean pork shoulder, boneless
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
3fl oz water
4oz mushrooms, sliced
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2fl oz tomato sauce
4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1tsp olive oil

Trim the pork and cut into cubes.
Fry the pork in the olive oil for a few minutes, stirring often, until browned.
Add the onion, tomatoes, rosemary and water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour, until pork is tender.
Add the remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for a further 30 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
Mash or puree as necessary.
