This baby is a surprise and I am afraid to tell the people who love me. My best friend is excited and incredible even though she is struggling with wanting another baby herself~ I LOVE her~ and know she will be a big support to me emotionally! I feel old! And SICK already! UGH! But I am excited and hoping and praying for a healthy baby boy!

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm an OB nurse, but I'm very supportive of natural birth and women who choose homebirth. I feel like the more educated and active women are in their pregnancies, the better! I also think that "the nurses" sometimes all get grouped into some perception of evil people who only want to ruin experiences or harm babies. I don't feel like I fit into this category, personally.

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Leaning toward not finding out!
Birth Plans/Preferences: Hospital. Had a life threatening postpartum hemorrhage with DD, praying for a safe, uneventful delivery this time!

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm a NICU nurse, but since DD came along have only gone back 1 shift every other week. I also do Critical NICU transports (Helicopter, plane, ambulance). I love being home with my baby girl, but I also am passionate about neonatal nursing.

Excited for this journey together!

Kelly! I started out as a NICU nurse in a big Level 3 in Chicago, and it is definitely my first love. I'm in a smaller community hospital now, so I'm cross-trained to LD and MB, but the little ones are where my heart is.
