I would put the RnG in first not last. You want to rinse out all the detergent so there is no buildup. Tea tree oil is amazing stuff to help ward off the stinky diapers.

How could I incorporate tea tree oil into my wash routine? I already have some that I use in my wipes solution, so I may as well try it on the diapers too!

The more I think about it, the more confusing it is...

If I have built up detergent that I need to strip, how would soaking it in more detergent or adding more detergent to my wash routine help matters? I don't get it!

Also I just realized that I have the PRE-remix of RNG. Is that the problem?

Go out and read about stripping diapers, you can find a lot of info. Tea tree oil can be used, but be careful as it can eat away at your rubber seal in your HE machine. I recommended stripping them since you may have ammonia build up due to the stink issues. I also don't think 1 tbsp is enough in your wash cycle, but try calling Rockin' Green and see what they say.

Thanks! I think I will drive the diapers over to my grandma's house this week. She has a non-HE machine so I can use Dawn in it.
