My minky Alvas wick... anyone know of a solution?
My favorite prints are the minky prints for some reason but they wick so much!
Even if the inserts aren't saturated the outside feels wet. Is there a fix to this or is this something I just have to live with?

I had the same problem with mine. Are you using the microfiber inserts?

No wicking here, I lay-in the bamboo inserts. Even after a 3-hour nap, 2 inserts are drenched but her pants are dry

Re: My minky Alvas wick... anyone know of a solution?
I Think it has to do with how absorbant the insert is and it also needs good holding power. I have some Minky pockets (not alva) and they don't wick if I fold the MF insert in half at the top or add a hemp doubler under it. If better absorbantcy doesn't fix it for you then you night have a slight repelling issue. In that case I would do the first rinse with vinegar about once a week or as much as is needed.

I only have 1 (cow print) but no wicking problems. I stuff with a pad folded flat.
