I really want a mei tai, but I am like a size 26. I know that I will need extra long straps. But, realistically, will a mei tai work for me. I don't want to waste my money on one that will be too little.

I think you should be able to find a Mei Tai to fit-just be sure to measure the straps long enough to tie around you securely. I bought one (I'm size 24) and was told that it would be fine, but wouldn't full tie. You might also want to find one that will cup your shoulders instead of digging in your neck.

I have also had success wearing my baby in a ring sling in a back carry, if that's something you would be interested in. A rs made with 3 yards will be plenty long enough for you!

I think it should work!
but there's a lot of mamas who make them, and you can talk it over with them and have one custom-made just to fit you!

It will SO work for you....just gotta make sure straps will be long enough for all the carries you would want! I would love to make one for you! I am not 100% sure how long you need for straps, but I can find out!
