Some really great advice...

My baby development book says that if you are cloth diapering, and have absorbancy issues, you can pick up absorbant disposable liners to use in your dipes that work just like disposable diapers, then you can throw them away.

Now tell me, what exactly is the point of this?

Re: Some really great advice...

I used those for one of my girls for nighttime when she was going through a really heavy wetting phase. I used to cover them with a fleece liner so she wasn't sitting right on it. She would always wake at night when she was wet, neither of us was getting any rest. I haven't seen them FS anywhere in a long time though. FTR, they weren't as gross as say Pampers with their multiple chemical smells, I think they were just gel & paper. They were a grocery store brand and just called Doublers.

Really? I've never seen them! The book is Your Baby's First Year Week By Week.

Some people just do not get it. I wonder why the author mentions cloth unless they can speak about it intelligently.

I have friends that have used the disposable doublers with disposable diapers, but not disposable doublers with cloth.
