Hunger decrease?

S it normal to go through phases of decreased hunger? My dd suddenly doesn't want as much and cries when I try and put her on the second side after nursing a short while on the first. She normally does about 10 minutes on each side, but several times over the last two days, she'll only do maybe ten minutes on side one and be done. She starts crying when I try and latch her and I thought it was gas, but once we solve that problem, she still cries at the boob. She'll take her pacifier though and go to sleep....thoughts?

Re: Hunger decrease?

If she is otherwise happy and gaining weight with plenty of wet diapers, she may just be coming off a growth spurt.
