How can i be sure its wool?
So I just got back from Goodwill and purchased what I am 99% sure to be 2 wool sweaters that I want to use to try my 1st attempt at making upcycled woolies. They both appear to be hand made sweaters and have no tags saying wool, but they feel like it, but to be honest, im not 100% sure. They seem a little scratchier and fuzzier than the acrylics, so im hoping for the best. I guess after i sew them up and lanolize... i will have DS sleep on a pee pad incase. lol!
any helpful hints and or idiot proof tutorials on how to do this (make them)?

You can burn a small section of it, acrylic will melt, cotton will catch, wool will ash

Re: How can i be sure its wool?
I wish all the sweaters at Goodwill had their tags still on. I have browsed there before and been so frustrated when there was no tag and I couldn't tell. Wish I could do the burn test in the store before buying the sweater. You will be able to tell once you felt it. Only those sweaters with enough wool content will felt. The ones that are cotton or acrylic I assume would not.
