Hehehe! Well the midwife did have 'sieve' in the birth kit list, so I'm sure she's seen it before, LOL. It's my first time as well, it never happened to me with my first two babies, of course it would be my one waterbirth that it happened where it's not so easy to clean up quickly!

thanks ladies. I also had 'aquarium fish net' on my to buy list and my midwife noted "see, we didn't even have to use this" when she left.
