Re: need help finding a good walking/ride on toy for baby!

My son loves his Prince Lionheart one. They are so nice and he refers to it as his bike. We have the lady bug shape one in size 1 and he still fits it at too. Before he could easily ride it he would walk it around with things on it.

Thank you everyone!

It looks like the two I am most seriously considering are the prince lionheart wheely bug and the ybike.

Does anyone have both? Is one better than another? I can't decide! LOL! And, I also don't know what size to go with for the bug.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Wheely Bug in a small. We got ours when our oldest was 1, and at five (and 46 inches tall), he would still hop on it briefly! We just passed it on to a friend as we have several indoor ride-ons, but it's still one of my favorites for toddlers!

My sister has the small mouse for her DD (about to turn three) and she still uses it happily too.

Enjoy!

I am bumping this back up because I finally got to a store and tried the wheelybug. It is incredibly cute as a ride on but definitely not a walker toy. I am thinking about getting it anyway, but still don't know what I would get as a stand up and walk type thing. Does anyone have the haba walker wagon? It was really nice in the store but extremely pricey

The Y-bike I mentioned above is also great as a walking toy.

I've admired the Haba Walker Wagon, though no personal experience. My kids have played with this one at friends' houses:

It seems to have a lot of staying power. Even older kids use it! It's not a ride-on, though, obviously.

My sister and I share this walker wagon back and forth (depending on who has the baby, lol) and we LOVE it! http://thewoodenwagon.com/woodentoy/102/BNV450.html

We also use our PBK shopping cart as a walker: http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/shopping-cart/ It's very sturdy and never tipped over! That's another toy that will continue to be lots of fun once they've learned to walk.
