Week 2 on my treadmill
So just started week two last night. My idea this week is to run 90 seconds and walk 1 minute.....all the way up to 25 minutes. Then I stretch and do some other little exercises that last about 5 minutes. I am only doing 15 crunches right now and 10 pushups. I definitely would like to increase that amount.

I plan on running Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I also want to make a big posterboard of my own personal diet rules and post in the kitchen just to remind myself during this holiday season. I weighed myself yesterday and had lost maybe 1/2 to 1 pound. That's not much at all considering I have been eating more healthy for about 3 or 4 weeks now. However, I do "cheat" so it just means that I need to cut back on that even more. I really wanted to lose 4 lbs by Christmas to go down from 153 to 149 so I am going to have to be more strict on the food. I need to look up some healthy snack options because my snack ideas are pretty limited and I need something I can grab and eat fast before I get chocolate or popcorn like I normally do.

Well....not going as good this week. I have only gotten one session in. I plan to run tomorrow for sure though. Maybe Sunday since I really, really need to stay on track. With holiday plans, we have not been home on Wed/Thurs/Fri evening. yikes! I just don't seem to have the energy to run when we get home at 9 or 10 at night.
I also got fast food. Blech! Not tasting so great now that I have been eating healthier. I also got constipated. tmi but seriously that fast food was not the best idea. |

That happens though- It is really tough to fit in time to work out- especially with kids. Don't be too hard on yourself- you will get there!

That is the main reason I get up early and work at at 5:30am. If I left it to after work, it would never get done.
