Re: Food Allergy Mommas
It's actually pretty easy to make any cookies dairy/soy/nut free. My son has food allergies and I'm nursing, so I've been experimenting with different recipes. Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies (I make the lactation cookies version, but obviously you can do it without brewer's yeast and flax!) taste great! I use the Enjoy Life chocolate chips, which are dairy, soy and nut free, and instead of butter I use the Soy Free Earth Balance spread. I'm egg free, too, so replace the eggs with applesauce (1/4 cup per egg). Hope that helps!

I'm lazy...I just buy the Enjoy Life cookies. Free of the top 8 allergens and made in a nut free facility. My DD liked the Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip the best.

Re: Food Allergy Mommas
Cherrybrook Kitchen has some really good mixes. I've tried the chocolate chip and chocolate cake with their icing. Both were very good. The texture is a tad different since they are also gluten free but my kiddos didn't make any comments about it.
ETA: Orgrans makes some boxed cookies that are pretty good that I send for my ds2 at school when they have sweet treats.

Yup...I dont actually MAKE cookies for my dd. Enjoy life has a huge variety of cookies and cookie bars! And there are usually coupons floating around too.

We're having a small party here tomorrow for my little guy's 2nd birthday. I'm thinking about trying to track down some Enjoy Life cookies to try. I figure at the very least, I won't have to stress on crumbs like usual with those.
Sent from my iPhone, please excuse any autocorrect craziness ;(

Re: Food Allergy Mommas
Yes, I agree with all the above. I was just in Trader Joes and they now have a Snickerdoodle that is free of the Top 8 allergens. They were YUMMO!
