Re: Any healthy fruit dip recipes?
Darn, you said No/Low sugar. I do not advocate using manufactured sweetners (splenda etc) for young children, so I'll give you the "recipe" I have for some yummy dip, and you can decide.
8oz sour cream (or more, or light sour cream) add brown sugar til it tints just a light cream color- or to taste Dip fruit in, it is SOOOOOOO good. You could also use artificial sweetners if you so chose, but, this is pretty yummy and it doesn't have to have a ton of sugar. you can also use plain yogurt as a fruit dip, its pretty good too. We just have to wash off fruit and its gone around here!

Re: Any healthy fruit dip recipes?
Granted there is a little sugar in vanilla flavored yogurt, but you can just use that.
You can take plain yogurt and add honey in it. Try blending the yogurt and honey with fresh fruit and maybe a little cottage cheese. That would be yummy. |

Re: Any healthy fruit dip recipes?
This one is really yummy, I used to make it with sour cream, you can get light sour cream or yogurt will probably be good too.
Just cut up some fresh dill and add some lemon juice and salt if you want. SO good! |

Re: Any healthy fruit dip recipes?
I made this dip for my sister's baby shower...she was put on a sugar-free diet at the end of her pregnancy. Everyone LOVED IT! It was gone long before the fruit was!
Mix equal parts of no sugar added strawberry yogurt and sugar free whipped cream. Yep that's it! Delish! |
