NB Darling diapers free pattern

I printed this pattern last night and it seems huge! Has anyone made these and thought the same?

I did. They weren't. I was lucky that they fit for 7 weeks because I had small kids. There is a preemie pattern as well. Remember you are going to have a 1/2 inch seam allowance... I guess they were a bit big for a week but I used thirsties duos and that kept everything in. No leaks. Loved that pattern but I made mine with snaps. I think the pattern has velcro? can't remember for sure irght now. Good luck.

That's good to hear. I'm expecting around an 8 lb baby so they should be perfect. They have snaps with the cord snap down.

Which size did you make, the orange outline or the red? The red fit my 7lb 4oz baby until he was around two-ish mos old and the orange started fitting when he was over 10lbs.

I was thinking of making these for a friends babe. But I don't have a snap thingy. Do you think I could just notch out a cord space (instead of having the snap down) and doing velcro for the tabs?

Opps, sorry! I used a pattern from the above link to make a newborn cover. It had the scoop cut out, and you could use snaps or aplix (velcro, you know what I mean). It looked appropriate size....? :-)
