binding a quilt with the backing?

I saw a tutorial (pre-pinterest days) on how to bind a quilt using the backing and now that I need it I can't find it! Anyone know the tutorial or have an idea of how to do it? I know how to bind a quilt, but I really just wanted to use the backing on this one to make it easier.

I have been google searching for hours!

my sister decided she needed a different color binding anyway
